This was my 12 year old son’s first big game hunt with a tag of his own. 223 and 77 TMK got the job done. He’s looking forward to a buck in next week!

Two weeks later, bet you are still picking thorns out, nice buck! Prickley pear are big thorns, the little ones stick around for a while.

You are absolutely correct! I still have stuff I’m waiting until it pushes out more or I’m using a razor to remove.

I’d say I learned my lesson, but I’d probably do it again if it meant I could crawl in on another antelope.
