Gators and bears and pythons and sharks and panthers. How can a person even live in Florida without being mangled by wildlife?View attachment 371633 when you bump into them at the local big box hardware store garden center, maybe it's time to consider a hunting season
They’re talking about having a season but I’m not sure if they will .I assumed they had a season? Or did they go the California way and ban it?
Not the place I like to store those.Florida scare the bajebies out of me! Watch the YouTube videos of snacks in the toilets…..no thankyou!
It's been banned for most of my life. They had a brief season a few years ago but it was shut down quickly by the uninformed crowd.I assumed they had a season? Or did they go the California way and ban it?
Snakes! Funny thoughNot the place I like to store those.
Any talk of getting a season back on the books? There was a season 10 years ago and the quota was exceeded by the 2nd day.
Ufdah! It’ll take a Rattle snake over that any day. At least they warn you, most of the time. When I first got here I was a nervous Nelly , now it’s nothing . Just got to watch what you step on .
We did have a Coral snake in our bass boat once , that was exciting! View attachment 371650
The coral snakes have their fangs in the back of their mouth , they have to actually chew on you to inject the venom , or so I hear . The Water Moccasins are what you have watch for , and Rattlers .Ufdah! It’ll take a Rattle snake over that any day. At least they warn you, most of the time.
There's talk right now. The commission vote is in a week or so. The general public largely against it though.Any talk of getting a season back on the books?
I guess it will take peoples dogs, cats and other personal items being eaten to eventually, hopefully, change the general uninformed public that hunting is conservation and good. There's talk right now. The commission vote is in a week or so. The general public largely against it though.
Ya! Creepy bastards! I once stepped on a 3 foot prairie rattler stretched out sunning itself in the yard. The coral snakes have their fangs in the back of their mouth , they have to actually chew on you to inject the venom , or so I hear . That’s just what I heard about the coral snakes, take it with a grain of salt. The one I posted a picture of came out of the mulch as I was down on my knees, spreading mulch in the flowerbeds .Lucky for me I had a shovel close by.Ya! Creepy bastards! I once stepped on a 3 foot prairie rattler stretched out sunning itself in the yard.I jumped 6 feet in the air and air ran for what seemed forever! I probably own the world record in the long jump
. Scared the snake as much as myself!
I did not know that about coral snakes though!
