We haven't had any kids on Halloween for many years, so many I have lost count. I buy a lot of H candy the day after when it is greatly reduced though.

I have never heard of trick or treating on a night other then Halloween. Is this something that is common in other places. It is not common where I live now or anywhere in Southern Cali...

Alot of rural areas here in New Brunswick will make sure they set it up for a weekend thing so the kids are not out late on a school night. Some towns will set up a haloween party for the kids and then they don't have to go out on the roads at all.

Our house is the gathering place for my kids, the neighborhood kids and our grandchildren to start from...but they have to eat my spaghetti first. We'll have lots of trick/treaters & seeing our brood all dressed up is a blast...life is good.
