The thread on hunting stories with kids made me think to post this. Here's my 10 year old daughter's first time shooting our Remington 600 in .243. She's going to hunt deer this year.
Hunting with your kids will change the way you see everything, what it means to you, what's important to you, it's truly transformative, and one of the most important aspects of my life...can't even explain how much it means to me.
My Granddaughter will be hunting on the mentor program as well this year she is 10 also.
We have been working with a CZ 527 Youth Carbine in 7.62x 39.
There so small girls at this age....
I had to make a short set of "Sticks" for her.
She is doing well too
Full sized deer target at 100 yards off sticks.
Are you taking her out on the Children's days hunting a week early too?
Tell her that's some fine shooting.
Good luck
