I'm planning to go on my first pronghorn hunt, actually my first western hunt ever. I have 1 point in WY. I'm looking at area 19 as it has 100% draw odds. I'm not looking for a trophy. Just a reasonable chance of seeing some animals and getting a shot. I know it will require some work. Just curious if anyone has any advice on this area that they're willing to share.

19 is small and limited on access and what access there is not a secret. It can be fun place to hunt but expect company. There is a reason it's so easy to draw.

Get a few more points. It can be done in low point units but it’s worth it in my experience to wait for a few more years and have better land access.

Appreciate your desire to hunt out west, but easy to draw antelope tags tend to show the absolute worst side of western hunting. Certainly a spray and pray affair if some poor critter happens to walk across what little public land is available. Can also be downright dangerous. People are already dumb in antelope season and even more so if space and opportunity for trigger pulls are limited.

Stash a few more points and hunt an area that will give you a pleasurable experience.

Just my $0.02.

Really wish I would have done this when I started planning my western hunting trips. I should have just gone for the first unit I could have drawn. Now I'm sitting on 5 points and still have a hard time finding a desirable unit. Units now that cost 5 points could have been drawn with 2 or 3 points when I started out. The winter storm of 23 really set me back. Just go for it is my opinion because you never know what next winter will do to the herd and tag numbers. Good luck!
