First Mule Deer

As some of you know, I'm new to Montana and boy has Montana been good to me so far. I just posted pictures of my first antelope here.

I'm a little slow in posting this, but last week I was fortunate enough to kill my first mule deer. There's not much of a story to go along with it. It was just one of those times when you're in the right place at the right time. The shot was 55 yards with my Mathews Bow, Gold Tip arrow, and Slick Trick broad heads. The only tag I have left is my elk tag. Hopefully I can go 3 for 3 in my first year as a Montanan.
