Grand Junction, CO... ? I do know that I would NOT want to be living in one of the top six picks; Cedar City, UT.

I played with this a lot back a few years. Each time I would tweek the critiera a bit and run it again.
Boise and Loveland came up on every list. A few spots in Utah.

I ended up with Bozeman
Then Divide, CO ( never heard of it til now ), and Helena, MT were the others in the top 3

..tic the hetero box & see what happens.

Hmmm...this came out as my "top twelve"

Palmer, Alaska
Helena, Montana
Dillon, Montana
Moscow, Idaho
Sheridan, Wyoming
Durango, Colorado
Bozeman, Montana
Anchorage, Alaska
Homer-Kenai Peninsula, Alaska
Spearfish, South Dakota
Divide, Colorado
Wenatchee, Washington

Many of mine came up with Arizona or the mid-south.

Page, AZ
Bisbee, AZ
Hickory, NC (?)
Paris, TN (?)
Morganton, NC
Gainesville, GA
Green Vally, AZ
Payson, AZ (been there, anyway)
Hopkinsville, TX
Guntersville, AL

I had Hickory NC as #1
and Page AZ as #2
I just got back from NC, and I dont care for it. I would very much take Mountain view AR over those two.

I think it might be because of your love of hairy legged tofu eaters. Missoula has a very high population of those.
