Did a little duck hunting this week. Not our best day in the field, but, not our worst either. It was just good to get out there! A few Mallards, a Gadwall, and one I'm not sure of. . .maybe one of the experts can tell us?

That's a young hen ringneck or ringbill. They have a few diff nicknames.

ZR1, we call Scaup (Blue Bills) dos gris not Ring Necks where I hunt near Venice.....ain't got no Ring Necks there.
