Few sharpies

We got out of the house and picked up a limit of sharpies.

GuNR was pumped to be out.



Thing got fast and furious for a second. Birds got up while I was half trying to put a sneak on a mule deer in the snow berry. BOOM, two birds drop and I got a third with the second barrel. Unfortunately, I was trying to mark birds and no pics of GuNR doing his job. I did get him with the last bird of the day.

I have bumped into a few pheasants, but I haven't been hunting "pheasant" spots. One covey of huns and as usual, shooting at the flock didn't work out for me. They did spook me as usual.

And how the heck do your birds stay so clean? Do you aim for the eye? Mine are always bloody when I pull them out of the game bag for a photo.
