Well with lots of snow comes lots of water. I am hoping this place may be pretty good this fall.

This guy landed in my decoys and I just got a quick shot before he realized he had been tricked.

Another that took me by surprise.

Kissing the water.

We have touchdown.

Ducks weren't that cooperative with me sitting against my boat and GuNR busy running around, but happy to get a couple shots. The gulls were curious enough to come in fairly close.

Very cool Miller. That big bull Can is about as cool as it gets. For all the damage that created for the big game and upland birds, it should be a hay day for the waterfowl ....... and us walleye guys who travel the Hi-Line in the summer.

Incredible Miller. As always thanks for sharing your pictures. I think you missed your calling you should be selling some of your shots.(maybe you do) They look that good!

Awesome pics Craig!

You've the patience and talent to capture the best. As Lawnmower mentioned, if you don't market them, they are of that quality.

How's the pup doing? Post up some pics of that little rascal when you can.

You aren't kidding. I didn't see him until he was locked up and I was reaching for the safety. Not many birds get my heart pumping, but a bull Can certainly does.:D

Thanks man. Not talented enough to feel I could make any money on pics. I just love that it gives me another excuse to be outdoors enjoying MT.

Tyson, thanks for asking. I think GuNR is doing very well. Yesterday was his first day swimming. Pretty obnoxious for a while, but he mastered it.

Here are a couple shots from two weeks ago on a sage-grouse survey (night prior).

Glad I went in the evening before. I found out access was going to be difficult.

Not a bad place to camp for the night.

Just Damn...it's a great time to see fully feathered waterfowl. Saw some spoonies by the road the other day that were stunning, and yeah, you should do a calender or something. I'd have one over my reloading bench.

WOW,I've always wanted to do that but don't have a camera to make it worth while.Great photos.

Awesome scenery and bird pics Miller. GuNR looks to be coming along great as well.

...just living up to his namesake.;)

Handsome fella though.

Nice... Good to see pics of the pup too. GuNR? Whats that? I'm slow so dont laugh if its obvious. My springers name is Gunner... :0)

The name GuNR may have something to do with his predecessor's title (Axl). Now considered classic rock....so showing my age.:D

BTW, GuNR and I will be in town Thursday to face the wildlife lead and discuss a certain RMP's chapter 4. He dumped it in my lap, so he better be nice. ;)

Maybe I will let you buy me lunch.;)

Too bad you didn't accept lunch, but it was good seeing you and the Rock Star.... let us know how the MR trip goes! (by the way... if you search on bowsite there are about 100 threads about the Longbow and such)....

Beautiful pics. I'm not sure how much talent it takes to sell photos, but I'd say you have enough!
