Then there was Africa and the Giraffe. Thats a Tough question for sure !!! Each is Special to me.

What a week. I was able to get my bull then my wife was able to kill her first 4 point. You should have seen all the torists faces while we were packing them up to the arch for a pic.

Is bull because it took me 4.5 hours to crawl into his bedroom before he stood up and gave me a 35yrd broadside shot!! Just because it was a great time fishing too!!

I'm gonna cheat and post a few.

First one is my mule deer from 2005.
It's the first mature animal I had killed, my dad is behind the camera, and it was in one of my absolute favorite places to ever hunt. We've also hunted this area my entire life, and this is by far the biggest mule deer I've ever seen in there.

Next up is my first bear, killed in '07. Not much for a trophy per se, but I hunted my balls off for about three years looking for one, so it means a lot.

Next is my '09 bear. Nothing particularly special about the hunt, just think he's a really awesome looking bear, and can't wait to get the rug done on him.

Last up is my bull from this year, my first. Again not a trophy animal, but easily the animal I've worked the hardest for.

Don't have any picture of my fish of the decade, but caught a stout 22" cutthroat on a fly out of a little alpine lake a couple years ago, that'd have to be my favorite.

Are you sure??? You lost your balls hunting for your first bear!! :D

Looks like a good decade...I'm on the fence about wether or not to go after my first bear this spring.

These two photos mean more to me than any hunting trip or animal I have taken in the last decade. They are my two best trophy photos!!

My son and I with a spring gobbler. His first real hunt with dad. He even set up the decoys that morning!

My dad's first muley buck. A great deer for a special father.

First pic is my 2009 deer, second is a fishing trip with my father in law. both were great.:D

Not my best big game critter, but it was a memorable hunt.

Scouting with my partner in July.

Unfortunately he showed signs of getting old on this scouting trip, so I was solo when October rolled around. Nine miles on the bike and six more on foot. Pain leaves good momories.:D

What the hell is a fish?;)

This bull isn't big, but he was my first bull and also my first big game animal with a bow so he means quite a bit to me. Easily my "best" of the decade.

2 hunts that happened this past year I consider are the most memorable. My 9 point for the 50 cal Flint Lock

The Turkey hunt that took an hour and a half to work the bird then run to ambush location when he decided he did not like the set up.
I got him ! made my way down to Va at 2AM arrived at 4:30/ 1st light this bird started off gobbling and would not stop. It's now 8 AM and he is still going at it walking back and forth on the other side of the small ridge trying to get me to come to him. Finally he came in see's the Tom decoy , struts and then walks off. I figered time to make my move if I want him. I make a mad dash 250 yards down the trail over the ridge and plop down 30 yards from the lake edge and 30 yards from the rise of the small ridge. I give out a few yelps and sit there 15 minutes later here he come's. Not a care in the world I give him one soft call , he stops looks up and down he went at about 35yards.
Bird Bird #7 Man I love this sport !
9.5" beard
1 1/2" & 1 3/8" spurs
weight about 25 pounds.
This bird Jacob my son and I were after when the boss Tom cut him off and Jake shot the Big one. This bird then took over the hill and 3 years later it was His turn.
