Family hunting trip Colorado 2nd season

Brief recap of this trip
More hunting pressure then I've seen in 20+ years of hunting out west
Seen 0 elk on public, several hundred on private
3 bucks on public and lots of does
Snowed or rained almost everyday
Won't ever hunt those units again
Still had a good time with family

Only one season out of many more to come. We all get skunked at some point. Remember that one year that it snowed every day and there was a ton of hunters and your sister did this or your broth did that....................................

Memories. Pulling the trigger or slinging the arrow is such a minuscule part of hunting.
