Extreme Downsizing of Dept. of Interior. Hits just keep on coming.

I hit a few national parks late February and early March. Most were unstaffed entrance. I doubt many folks paid on the way through.

My annual pass just stayed in my wallet. Just as well, I hate seeing the ego maniac that has his fugged up face on it.:poop::poop:

Government is supposed to be ran by the people FOR the People. Last time I checked they want to take away Your hunting and fishing rights. How do outdoorsman support the change in the left ideology. Didn’t used to be that way. How anyway can say government hasn’t be one to big is beyond me.
Your ire is a bit misplaced, the folks trying to take away your ability to hunt and fish are primarily elected officials and unelected, political appointees on boards and commissions. The lifelong federal and state employees of the various wildlife and land agencies are not the villains you are looking for. If anything, those federal and state employees are generally trying to preserve your ability to hunt and fish. They are the folks pushing back against the powerful urban anti-hunting activists and organizations. I try to make a point of thanking them when given the opportunity. At least that has been my experience in Colorado.

Your argument has merit with the anti-hunting campaigns, ballot initiatives, bills introduced in Colorado and Washington. Trapping with leghold or snares on any public land here in New Mexico was taken away. Someone’s dog got caught and died because trapper did not check in time. Millions of public land trapping acres just poof, gone.
So rah rah, stick it to the libs. On the other hand, and this should especially impact the vote of Utahns next opportunity, the anti-hunters are not Mike Lee. Because that kumquat Mike Lee wants to take away Federal lands which impacts all citizens outdoorsmen or not and all corporations that benefit from the resources of those lands.
I’m not affiliated with either of the main parties. Yet when it comes to my next vote, anyone who is against Mike Lee’s proposals is a friend to me.

No the posts changed. My points this don’t bitch and cry about guns and hunting rights, federal lands all of the above if it’s the very people you voted in office. Look at what a total crapshow Colorado has become. Now Oregon waves to take all hunting, fishing, farming away.
