I used to teach hunter education. Each year I would have nearly empty classes all summer long. then come August there would be a huge flood of students and angry parents because the classes filled up too soon. Now is the time! Soccer/gymnastics/fishing,etc are important and rightfully so, but, beware the classes fill up soon when our priorities change with the crisp autumn breezes.

HE classes...

I taught HE for 17 yrs. along with waterfowl ID for 10 yrs. I assisted the bow hunter classes when needed. I found that most parents and students did not plan ahead and wanted the classes to be at their convenience. So, I scheduled HE classes for March and Sept. Most were full, some more so. The waterfowl ID class I would schedule for late Sept. only. This way I could hope that most students would retain some of the class content. I applaud you for your effort and time giving something back to the sport. MTG

Both of you are good guys! That is on my retirement bucket list. That and volunteering at the VA.
