Elk Pictures w/ Score

This one grossed 325, I think net was in 305-310 range. ~50 inch beams, good fronts, but weak 3rds and 5ths, which is pretty typical. It's the only bull I've shot over 300, have a couple others that gross about 295, which I still think are nice bulls (says guy without 350 bull).

I was a fledgling long armer 10 years ago. I thought this one was possibly 350 before I ended up getting him. His body size and antler mass was bigger than I expected and he was 370+ gross, 360+ net.

It's very disappointing to me that I got a little wrapped up on the score, I almost didn't shoot. I got to see him rutting cows, bugling, fighting and doing everything a herd bull does. That bull gave me the possibly the coolest experience of a life that has been full of experiences.

When this bull cleared the trees at 30 yards, I though over 300 and good enough. When I walked up to him I thought, wow he might go 340. Put the tape to him and went wow again. 373.

Watched this bull crest a ridge following a train of about 20 cows 60 yards from where I was frozen with the gun ready in plain sight for what seemed like an eternity. Shot clean over him & spine'd him with the second aiming low behind the shoulder. Don't remember what I roughed him.

322 as is. 59 inch beams or he would’ve been a 300 inch bull which is what I thought he was until I got home and set him against my pickup an thought holy crap he has beams.

Bull I just took down from a very high spot on the wall in order to remove the stupid gold paint. Score? Any tips on getting rid of the spray paint?

This Idaho bull doesn’t touch 300 I think he was around 290. I sure thought he was big when I shot him. Whoops
