[ElkHuntingPastor]

Great bull!

Thank you!

[ElkHuntingPastor]

Is that a bullet hole in the antler?

Yes.. but it could have been anyone

[cgasner1]

Yes.. but it could have been anyone

Probably same guy that shot my moose in the paddle this year

Probably same guy that shot my moose in the paddle this year

The area I hunt is a good old Montana warzone on opening day so truly again; it could have been anyone
I never wailed at any moose that I remember though

An old man friend shot a bull from the same group 100 yards from this one that had already been shot in the
butt

The wife got in on the elk action yesterday with a surprisingly good late in the season bull.

My good friend George and his cow elk he shot a week ago or so.

The guy is like clockwork, kills at least 1 elk every year, or has been the past 24 years we've been hunting together. I hope at 84 years old I can still get out there and have the desire to hunt elk.

[300stw]

my non resident tag from few weeks ago, 6.5 prc 140 berger, 570 something yards, middle shoulder shot never moved

Not a harvest photo but I'm posting it in this thread anyway cuz it was one of the coolest experiences I've had. Here's me this season with a deer tag in my pocket questioning my life choices

They know. I swear.

They know. I swear.

It's true. A couple years ago I was somewhere else with an elk tag.....and during the course of that hunt I had 7 different mule deer that were probably 160"ish in rifle range

So awesome. I can only hope I'm out doing that when I'm that age.
