What does everyone like to add to their water while out on those almost-pass-out hunting marathons? I used to use Emergen-C but have really grown fond of Coco-Hydro. Friends like Power-Pack. IMO this stuff is worth the extra weight in the pack IF I'm going all out.

The WA Energy and Focus gives a nice burst of caffeine and b vitamins. It can pull you out of a funk when you are worn down, or having caffeine withdrawals.

Try some energy chews like shot blox too.

ZipFizz ("Healthy Energy Mix). Loaded with vitamins and A LOT of B12.

Add powdered Gatorade to the water bottle and go with straight H2O in the camelbak.

Crystal Light packets.

Just a heads up...

Artificial sweeteners. Sorbitol and mannitol, artificial sweeteners found in chewing gum and other sugar-free products, can cause diarrhea in some otherwise healthy people.

When you are sweating and drinking lots of low calorie drinks, and get the trots...uh-huh...that's what happened...

Check out VitaLyte, many different flavors and you can buy single packets to keep in your pack or a bulk amount you can keep at camp. It's sold at REI and a few other places.

Wilderness athlete or emergency. During long pack outs try any energy gels maid for runners
When you can't take another step take one you will see a real difference.
