What are your thoughts on what you posted?

Not sure any RIFs will actually reach the field. My guess is a lot of administrative folks who got "lifted and shifted" into DOI are about to get RIF'd, and maybe some early career & poor performers in the field, but if they follow the RIF guidelines (which it sounds like they are finally doing) this won't affect most field offices. That's my prediction but it's anyone's guess if you consider the last 9 months. Wait and see is the mode I think most are in. IMO the hiring freeze will turn out to have a bigger impact than the RIFs, long term.
