Does the price of fuel impact your hunting plans?

Price of fuel never factors into the equation. We already spend hundreds or even thousands just buying licenses and applying for tags, food, beer & alcohol, so what's another few hundred $$?
If I didn't have $$ that was disposable, I probably shouldn't be spending it on hunting.
Hunting is not a very cost effective way to put meat on the table. But it is fun.

I always over budget for fuel, hopefully headed west with a tag and fuel will be my lowest concern. It’s the toll roads that will chap my arse!

Even with the chitty CAD/USD exchange rate that US gas is still cheaper than it is here.

But no, even if it were higher, it wouldn't stop me.

Won't change if I'm going, but for trips long enough to need an overnight on the way to/fro I'd likely sleep in my vehicle vs getting a room for the night. For local stuff, I'd likely take my car vs my truck and deal with the extra hassle of a smaller, shorter vehicle.
