Dm339 Western side of unit 13

I drew a nonresident moose tag in the western half of unit 13 in Alaska.
I have a verbal (awaiting contract) with an air taxi to fly me past the crowds. My friends are not likely to go so I am looking for a partner. As a long shot I am posting here (if you did not draw you must be a resident of Alaska).

Nickster.... I saw your post on AOF as well about this. You should throw out options for Non-Res harvest opportunities for a partner if you should find one for this hunt. I believe a NR could get a Blackie tag and wolf. Dont know about Bou though? Who's your transporter?

Probably a boner move by me. I drove the area last fall while in the area for a hike and saw several moose. My thought was if I could get off the road system I might have some luck.
Truth of the matter is I spent all of last year in China was was essentially out of the loop on the whole unit 13 drama. I did speak to your sunday morning breakfast companion last week and he said I might have to work hard and I might still come up empty-I am alright with that-success has a price. I don't need 100 bulls that exceed 50', I need one! A couple of unsuccessful moose hunts are behind me and have proven to me that they are not behind every berry bush. I don't want to waste my time but I hate to waste a tag.

Good point. caribou is not an option for the nonresident. No tags are required for wolves and the limit is 10. Black bear requires a tag and the limit is 3.
I prefer to not mention the name of my transporter until I have a signed contract-I don't want you stealing my ride!:hump:

Well on the bright side, the only competition you have will be from a couple outfitters, and half of Anchorage and Wasilla.

Will be a tough hunt I think, but not impossible.
