Deer Mount

I took a good buck back in 1994 that I always wanted to get mounted. So I took the cape from my 2009 buck and here's the final product.

Looks good. I dont seen any company. I think you need some antelope or elk.

Dang. Two gorgeous animals! That bull is about as uniform as you can get. What was the difference between the gross and net scores? Less than five inches?

Thats more like it. Those elk do take up alot of room.

I never get tired of seeing that bull though...damn. I still remember that message on my phone, "I shot a pretty good bull...should be close to 330-340"....

Buschy, there was 11" of deductions with 6" coming from the split G2 on the right side. The 66" of total mass on this bull was the most impressive thing.

That bull is a great bull...love the dark horns.
I'm thinking more like 365"??

Nice looking animals. How long are the 3rds and 4ths on the bull? I don't think I've ever seen 3rds that long.

Buzz - If someone had told me a bull with 47" main beams and a 36" spread scored that high, I'd be the first to call them a liar.

mdunc8 - the thirds are 23" and the 4ths are 21".

Yeah I remember that one as well. Dark Lodgpoles with snow. The scene was just made for a dead bull.
