That’s almost record book level right there. Pretty good for a meat hunter.I know I feel much better about myself whenever I check my reaction score. There’s that going for the new system.
It’s so much easier to say something that gets you virtual affirmation than it is to go out and slay a wild beast to gain the admiration of fellow Cro-magnens. Evolution of human society is a beautiful thing.
(3858 is my official score. Not that I am a score guy or anything. I am more of a meat hunter.)

LOL...I should add, I got threatened by the rancher himself if I harmed his daughter. Remember the song "...cleaning my gun...". That was one hell of a hunt on horseback over some of the steepest terrain. She knew lions though as they were feeding on her family's cattle. I got $500 to hunt that lion and company of a really nice lady to boot. Almost as epic as this years hunt is going to be.Love WyoDoug![]()
Guilty. I sometimes post under the alter-ego, Gerald Martin. Keeps people guessing.
Cowbell?....I’m thinking charcuterie and cheese board.![]()
When I started I know someone's signature said something to the effect that "soandso and @JoseCuervo are the same guy." For the life of me I can't remember whose signature that was and who Jose's alter ego were though.Just saw this and made me curious if any folks on HT have a secondary account to stir the pot or “agree with them”. Probably not, but amazing how far people go in the digital world to create noise.

I have never hunted using dogs and don't believe in it myself other than retrieving birds so I hunt without dogs.
If I did a lot of bird hunting I would use dogs to retrieve them. Sometimes finding a grouse or a dove in tall grass is near impossible without them. The only reason I bird hunt is to watch the dogs work, its a thing of beauty hunting behind good dogs
Its also a thing of beauty listening to a group of hounds on a big chase. My dad was a beagle hunter and rabbit is still my favorite meat. The only reason I bird hunt is to watch the dogs work, its a thing of beauty hunting behind good dogs
It’s just your inner curmudgeon coming out. You need a good dose of fried chicken and a Cold Smoke.I think you're wrong on this one, and that's okay. Reading through the rest of the thread, it seems many are happy with hunt talk in it's current state and enjoy the "political gamesmanship." I certainly don't want to contribute to any negativity, and keep complaining about how much better something used to be. People and places change, at a seemingly exponential rate.
This is the Internet in a nutshell. It really has nothing to do with Hunt Talk or any other platform. It’s human ego vs human ego.
