Crossbows

There is 1 unit in your own state that allows guns during a archery only season which absolutely amazes me.

:

One? Want me to keep feeding you rope?

muzzleloader or crossbow only.

hunting district regulations.

I do have to cut you some slack 556, you are trying to make sense out of something that makes no sense.

I am now completely confused. You first stated your restrictions in the archery could use crossbows muzzloaders shotguns handguns and now you are saying you can't? Which one is it

The Bitterroot has it's own set of hunting rules that is very very specific to that valley only. This is not the norm in regular Montana. There are a few weapon restricted areas like that in the state, but they are the urban areas and subdivisions with an overpopulation of cockroach style whitetails. Maybe instead of 15 whitetail doe tags per person , per year , the root could allow some more crossbow use :D

One thing that is for sure Montana will never allow them during archery season. Fact
You proved me wrong and in the process proved this statment you made was wrong as well.

You going to admit you were wrong or not?

wow. . how in the holy **** do you guys know what is going on out there? I would never get any hunting done because I'd be trying to keep up on all the old regs and new regs coming out, make sure I'm wearing legal boots, if my camo pattern is legal in the area I'm hunting, if my water is in an exceptable container, etc. some of it seems a bit much. . .I guess If I grew up and hunted there all my life I wouldn't think much about it, but, for a hilljack from Indiana, it seems crazy. :)

Guess that's a no huh T-Jones. You sure like to run your mouth but the moment you are proven wrong you STFU quick. Pretty Chicken$#it if you ask me. Typical Montana resonse to stick your head in the snow when you know you are wrong an now won't admit it. Takes a big man to admit he's wrong, you sir are not. You hung yourself with your own rope. Bazinga as you like to say. Laffin.

What Greenhorn said.

I am not wrong. The answer is in my post above. If you can't understand it, then as Buzz says, "I am not going to spoon feed you your mush."

I am done with this thread.

Here in Nevada they are legal to use during the Any Legal Weapon season, not during the Archery only, I have nothing against those who want to use them, my personal feeling (unless a handicap prevents regular archery gear), make up your mind wether to go archery or long gun, don't wimp out for middle ground. But then again the stick bow hunters probably fell pretty much the same about my compund.

If a person can go to MT and use a crossbow during a archery equip only season then you are wrong even if it is just a few units. Anybody who can read knows who is right and it aint you. You hung yourself with your own rope, even tied the knot, all while being a smartass. Fact. Thanks for the help.

Sept 01 - Jan 15 — Either-sex White-tailed Deer. ArchEquip Only.
260-30: 500 B licenses. Only ArchEquip, shotgun, traditional handgun,
muzzleloader or crossbow may be used with this license.

You proved yourself wrong and won't admit it. Your response reminds me of the UM response to the problems with the football program. Deny and stick your head in the snow and hope it goes away. I'm done as well.

I don't think they've filled you in on everything. The archery only season was Sept. 01- Through to Jan 15 - You can't use the crossbow until the Dec. 1st through January 15 portion. The either sex portion is the archery only part of that. Crossbows, and the other stuff can't shoot bucks. Archery only for bucks that's why it states it that way. There is a archery only portion where just hand held bows are allowed, and that's the regular archery only season state wide.

It's no different than any of our general areas. Archery only last for the first 6 weeks, no crossbows are allowed anywhere in the state in that time frame. You are welcome to use the crossbow after that during the general season.

Tjones was right, there's no place in Montana that during our archery only season you can use the gaybow, I mean crossbow.

Doesn't matter if it's just does and only in December and half of January. Still a crossbow can be used to hunt deer during an archery only season in MT in those units. Thanks for confirming TJones was wrong, I appreciate it.

Continue with the gay slurs.
