New Maps Reveal Extensive Pronghorn Migrations Across Northern Sagebrush Steppe

I wish Saskatchewan did more work for pronghorns. Our herd is getting very healthy east of the South Saskatchewan River too and even small herds making their way north of Saskatoon.

They're truly great animals and I was extremely lucky to hunt them here at home in 2023 just north of Hwy 1 on the Sask side.

New Maps Reveal Extensive Pronghorn Migrations Across Northern Sagebrush Steppe

Those migration maps are impressive. Seeing how far some of those herds move and how often they cross state and national boundaries really changes how you think about managing habitat. It highlights how important open corridors are on both sides of the line if we want those routes to stay intact.
