Stoner guide in OUR boat messed around and had the boat go BACKWARDS over a CL IV rapid in the Gorge, dumped the whole boat. No big deal......as I was floating on my back (feet down river) ANOTHER stoner guide decided to throw a rescue rope without any eye contact from me (or need for it). It end up twisted into a loop that lassoed me around the neck and shoulder. He started pulling me in like a fish. Thankfully, right as I was blacking out in the middle of the river a passing guide realized what was going on, jumped in, cut me free and pulled me to the bank. Chucked up half of the Arkansas. I will never do that again.
