HB 235, the "corner crossing bill" died in the House Judiciary Committee this morning in a 12-8 party line vote. All 12 Republicans on the committee voted against the measure and all 8 Democrats voted for it. The bill would have amended state trespassing law to allow the public to cross at corners where two sections of public land meet in checkerboarded areas.

Sounds like they all should move up to the Capitol Building in DC to vote that straight party line way on something like this! Talk about gridlock in politics!!!
