I was working in this old garage today and noticed a small piece of paper stuffed in a crack. I pulled this out and was really surprised. I knew the house was built in the 50's and it looks like the tag matches that time period. It's not in great shape but I thought it was pretty cool.

Very cool. I once worked on demolishing the inside of a house when I was in high school. The walls were stuffed with old newspapers and such. I spent more time reading the "news" than I did demolishing.. :D. I never found anything that cool though!

Very nice! I put a closet in under our stairs (just had to add a door) and all I found were pop bottles and chip bags...

Thats neat. I found some of my grandfathers old tags in one of his old hunting jackets a few years ago. I will see if I can find them and get a pic on here.

Same here. Will try to find the one of dad's I found from, I think in the early 40's and handwritten. IIRC it was $4.

I got my first hunting license in 1962, the B tags were good for a whitetail buck or a mule deer doe and in some area's as this tag showed you could shoot a 2nd mule deer buck. all A tags were good for a buck either speices and does of course.. The Fort Peck Game range (CMR) was first opened to big game hunting in 1958, lots of big deer around then. not everybody had a pick up and nobody had a 4x4
