There's a bill that's been introduced into the Colorado General Assembly that would double the cost of most resident big game licenses. Deer and antelope will go from $20 to $40, and elk fees will be split: $60 for a bull license and $40 for a cow license, both up from $30. I have my doubts that it will make it through all the committees, but I think it sounds reasonable. It has been 13 years since our last fee increase. Any other CO opinions out there?

Does Colorado have a hunting license required to go along with the tags with an additional fee? Just wondering, because if not, those fees seem very reasonable. If I was a resident I'd be buying that cow tag.

Shit, they could quadroople the price of my tags and I wouldn't care if they'd put a limit on the out of staters they let in! Like that would ever happen though... One word and the CDOW go hand in hand! Money...
