I applied for a limited unit in Colorado for a rifle tag. I had one or two individuals tell me the hunting was poor, outfitters had leased all the hunting rights in the unit, the quality of bucks is downhill, etc. I scouted one day this summer and got permission from a great rancher than owned about six sections of land in the unit. The Lord blessed me opening morning with my first pronghorn. I cooked some of the backstraps last night and pronghorn is very good eating. This hunt will be my only time pronghorn hunting in Colorado, due to distance and costs. But I am thankful for a successful hunt.

Thanks for the complements. It was a very easy hunt. Did not want to make it sound like a tough hunt. I was basically saying that people will sometimes have a different perspective of an area or will lead people away from a unit. I just ate some more loin and pronghorn is very tasty/non-gamey.
