Colorado muzzleloader unit 15 or 231 ?

Looking into a 3=4 day muzzleloader deer hunt for Colorado along with my Wyoming archery hunt.Trying to decide between units 15 and 231.I only have one pref point and thinking of using it this year and then be done with the pref point game for deer.

Rooster - my brother and I hunted 15 this year with muzzleloaders; had both elk and deer tags. Elk were our first target and we both agreed only to shoot whopper mulies. We lucked out on elk and would estimate that we each saw +/- 50 mule deer in the six days of hunting. I saw one monster, one pretty good, and a bunch of does. No experience in 231 but I would think you could surely find deer in 15.

Were you in the Wilderness area or in the southern portion of the unit ? I have hunted the green Ridge area a few years ago with my brother for elk .He was lucky but not me. We did see a couple nice muley bucks there.

Have been looking at that area and to the south of there for deer.
