Colorado GMU 201 or 2

Does anyone have experience hunting units 201 or 2 in Colorado? I have not been up to the area yet and just was informed that I won a tag that can be used to hunt there. I'm looking to narrow down a few areas to start my scouting. Thanks.

Wow. Just wow. Lucky you. Like most, I have no experience with either of those units. But I do believe 201 is considered the better of the two. Wish I could say I had first-hand experience. GMU 201 seems to be where the 25-point guys try to draw, though. Good luck and share your experiences with the rest of us. We'd love to hear about it.

Congrats. I know guys who have been waiting 22+ years for that tag and will probably never draw due to point creep.

Me and 2 buddies drew muzzle loader tags 2 years ago ,it was the best elk hunting experience we ever had. Pm me and I will try and answer any questions you have.
