Looks like I’m headed to southern Colorado this fall for first rifle elk.
Good luck to all that are heading out there too. May y’all kill a nice bull the day after I do!
Now I’ve got to figure out what rifle to take.

Good luck! No tag for me this year but father in law drew early rifle season for 61. Hoping to use all my free time scouting and putting him on a good bull after waiting 20+ years.

How did you hunt go? I am looking at OTC in Southern Colorado myself.

There’s elk in those mountains.
Found cows and heard bulls, just never sealed the deal.
