This winter could get interesting.

Mebbe and mebbe not. December snowpack numbers are pretty useless. February and March is when they start getting interesting...

Chances are my 6 points are going to grow for a few years. Was hoping to cash in next year too.

I have no idea so enlighten me. What is the difference between 7ft and 9ft snowpack? (Other than saying 2ft)

I read that they have dubbed this year's El Niño "El Gordo". I talked to a 70 yo Dolores River Basin rancher the other day and he said "when winter starts like this it usually just keeps comin and comin". I have scientifically added these two bits of information together and have come up with the result that there is going to be exactly a big shitpile of snow in CO this winter.

Supporting data is that this week was the first time in five or six years that I have had to blow snow from around my house in the San Juans to make room for more.

I wonder if AZ will let me use my 12 CO deer pref points ? Maybe on a discounted basis?

As long as they went into the winter in good shape they should be fine if the range conditions were favorable

Waiting to see the outcome of this winter to decide if my deer points get used.I don't have a lot but enough for a decent hunt if theres no big die off
