Chronographs

Just ordered a Oehler 35p. I have a Shooting Chrony Beta that I have been very unhappy with reliability and accuracy. I am looking at getting accurate es and sd readings for long range shooting. Kinda late now but anybody have thoughts on this chronograph? I will post a review and comparison of the two once I get it and the weather cooperates.

By all reports it's about as good as it gets for a commercial chronograph. You did well.

Just passing this along for your reading pleasure. Not so much for the talk about the chronographs, but there is some good discussion on getting "accurate ES and SD readings" towards the bottom. Basically, you need larger than normal sample sizes. An interesting discussion on the math of the statistics.
