Canvasback

Had a slow day last Sunday by 11am I only had three ducks(2 gadwalls and a green-wing teal). A little after 11 I had a group of around 9 canvasback come in they kept buzzing the decoys but wouldn't commit. The 3rd time they buzzed the set I pulled up and managed to get one. We dont get a ton of canvasback around here first I've got in 2-3 years.

There is is a fairly deep Wichita city lake currently holding a raft of 80-ish canvasbacks. It also has a large group of goldeneyes that will hang around all winter. Amazingly acclimatized to car traffic, they take off when walkers pass by anywhere close by.
