buddies success in colorad

talked to my buddy last night, so far 3 guys have filled cow tags. my buddy took his first elk(in 4 trys out there) he said he seen enough cows and spikes and finally decided on a cow with his either sex tag. then his bro-in-law shot a 5x5 walking back to camp just before dark.. 2 guys left and 3 days to go.

i can't wait, plane leaves on the 19th and hunting on the 22nd..

I've heard the early snow in Colorado really got the elk moving around. What part of the state will you be hunting in?
