Had a great hunt in Texas on the last day of spring Turkey season. Shot this gobbler with my Freedom Arms M83 in 41 magnum. Hand loaded 210 XTP at about 20 yards. Walking away from me in full strut and made a perfect Texas Heart Shot. Zero meat loss and zero trailing to do. Gobble gobble.

That’s awesome lol. I just picked up a Rossi brawler, 45lc/410 single shot pistol, and I’ve been thinking it’d be fun to hunt a turkey with it. Due to the rifled barrel, the shot pattern really opens up past 10yds or so, so it’ll be a challenge!

I figure I’ll just carry it while I’m hunting concurrent seasons, and perhaps a bird of opportunity will come by.
