I'm not sure if Bret still has an active HT account. So here's a quick story and pic of his first Mule Deer buck.

Due to some time constraints at work, Bret didn't have the whole 10 days to hunt. The bar was lowered a little but we knew we'd have fun no matter how many days we spent up there.

On the third day of the hunt we glassed up two bucks with some does. Bret picked out the better of the two and let the 7MM rip. The end result was a great 1st mule deer and a not so great pack out back to the jeep.

Congrats to Brett. That's an interesting looking buck, love the dark face. One of these years I'll get down there to chase desert bucks.

Get down here! This was a North Rim buck, he hit the dirt at about 8800ft above sea level. I agree he has a real cool look to him.
