You can see the cub just before it runs away. After getting its face pounded against the rocks, then taking a heel to the nose the bear decided it wasn't worth it!

Epic encounter, he was in some serious country , a lot more exciting to watch than my close encounter of the bear kind this summer , bear runs east , I ran west …. The end, although I’m sure the adrenaline spike was similar, I thought I was a dead man
