I tried to make a decently hard quiz, if folks have really tricky bear pics, esp ones they ground truth-ed I can add them.

That meant you were putting the wrong answer, I had the same problem but when I went back and put the opposite answer it worked.

Exactly, there are some weird features of sporcle, I couldn't figure out how to let you type in wrong answers and move on...

Although I did fairly well on the quiz exercise (17/20), yet I would not have pulled the trigger on at least half of them. Needing to be close enough to estimate front claw length, dished head depression, and hump muscle ... likely I would have turned and headed for the house!
