Another year is in the books. Not quite as good as last year, but I was able to get out a bunch this year which is no easy feat with two small kids at home.

That must be a dream to hunt ducks up there. Do you get a lot of spoonies up there?

We get a few spoonies every year, but I wouldn't say its the norm. Mostly Teal and Gadwall in the early season. Mallards come and go in waves toward the middle of the season, and then a heavy dose of divers (Goldeneye) in the late season.
