I watch both of Ron's youtube channels. He is really impressed with hammers, talks about them all the time.

My big flintlock with approx 340 gr .62 roundball and black powder is enough of a pounding. 600 grains over smokeless? At best a novelty, and certainly not something I would want to stand behind.
