BHA congressional contact link for writing your Senators and Reps about the public land selloff.

When renewable development wanted public land and BHA wet themselves signing on,they claimed that doing so gave them a "seat at the table so no worries.. I guess that seat was at the kiddie table?

Now what we do know, is that Celeste Maloy, and Mike Lee reside in Utah(along with the Ken Ivory of the world). Meaning the fight is in Utah. Where is BHA rendevous again this year?

The "save our canyons" folks, do the heavy lifting here, and not one of thise hippies hunts, fishes, or traps.

And guaranteed, come midterms, BHA will sit in Mont or Laramie swilling IPA issuing press releases.
Whatever you say Nick...

But why would you start being correct on anything today? Your compresion suit too tight?

Now. We know how many BHA dudes roll into slc for expo. Where are you for primary season? Utah dudes, including myself scratched checks for the corner crossing fight im Wyoming. Where you at?

If you have a message to convey, maybe it would help to do so in a mature and cogent manner instead of whatever passive aggressive battle you’re waging. You may have a very salient point, but you’re coming across immaturely and whatever point you have is completely lost in your personal battles.

Primaries matter
You going to try to primary a guy that won 70% of the primary vote in 2022? I wish you luck. Mike Lee easily lost SLC. He is in Congress because of the rest of the state. And a lot of those voters simply hate the US Government, even if they camp on those lands. This story can be repeated in a lot of states. Those voters will convince themselves it will be fine.

Celeste Maloy, Ammon Bundys cousin, won her primary by 1.2%. The Outdoor retailers teied the run away strategy, it failed miserably. The sagebrush rebelion, and its numerous repackages, start and end HERE. You dont veat it in Bozeman, or Mineapolis, or Boise. Its won and lost in SLC.

BHA is a non existent entity in this state not because Perry isnt a good dude who busts his ass, but because BHA refuses to enter the scrum.

Im nowhere near the only former BHA member, in this forum, that got disillusioned by the lack of support.

BHA is a 501c3. Sounds like you want it to do 501c4 activities. I don't disagree at all that a 501c4 is needed, but people will still bitch about what is and isn't done by that group if it existed.

Nope. or, i dont care, at least.

Sfw does the expo every year. Sfw represents a minority of utah hunters. But every channel, every paper, EVERY LEGISLATOR gets tge PR release about how many millions it generated, and the 60k attendees. The governor comes, celebrities, power players. SFW influene is greatly oversized because of it.

BHA brings in what? Million or more dollars? Thousands of attendees to their rendevous? Same companies thst roll in for the expo, show for it? Imagine that power, and frankly financial benefit, speaking FOR, or at least allowing tgevplatform for, a primary opponent.

Thats the point that me, and others in this forum try to make. You cant not be on the ground, yet clsim you lead the fight. Your not. And folks like Malloy, can go to rural utah and play to the hunting community that she represents them, without any counter to that. Is that worth 1.2% of the vote?

A lot of money, letters, phone calls, etc, including from me, flowed into the corner crossing fight, because it affects us all. The lack of ROI is noticable.

Yes, Sportsmen for Fish & Wildlife Inc. is a 501(c)(3) organization. This designation means it is a non-profit organization eligible to receive tax-deductible contributions. The organization's mission is to protect fish and wildlife.

"Under the Internal Revenue Code, all section 501(c)(3) organizations are absolutely prohibited from directly or indirectly participating in, or intervening in, any political campaign on behalf of (or in opposition to) any candidate for elective public office. Contributions to political campaign funds or public statements of position (verbal or written) made on behalf of the organization in favor of or in opposition to any candidate for public office clearly violate the prohibition against political campaign activity. Violating this prohibition may result in denial or revocation of tax-exempt status and the imposition of certain excise taxes."

Oh yeah, how much money flowed in for corner crossing? What exactly did Utah do to help with the corner crossing case, be specific.

Also, by simply riding coattails Utah now has the right to corner cross. So what exactly were you looking for on "roi" from the corner crossing case? 8.3 million acres of access wasn't a good return for the paltry amount it cost for attorneys?

I mean for context, Yellowstone is 2.2 million acres, the case opened up a land mass almost 4 times that size. Can you name a better "ROI" in your lifetime that opened up that kind of access?

Also, I must have missed that check from SFW to help with corner crossing, maybe it got lost in the mail.

Finally if SFW is so involved and badass, why didn't they fight to get someone more friendly to sportsmen elected in Utah?

My guess it's going to be crickets from you...

This is apparently not understood by many people. It is worth repeating in these discussions.

Ive never been, so you tell me.

Not a single candidate for office, attends, speaks, or campaigns at a rendevous?

im sorry your reading comptehension is so poor. SFW, whom i detest and have never given a dime to, gets what the want because, to quote you, THEY SHOW UP. They do the work. THEY SUPPORT CANDIDATES. Bha, doesnt. Thats just a fact. BHA put more effort and cash into Minneaplois than slc. Another, FACT.

Malloy won her primary by 224 votes. The cost of which now equals roughly a million acres? Just to start. Whats the ROI on that?
