I was out on the road again knocking down on my endless list of overdue audits. 14 hr day and dead tired. Stop in at an Applebees to grab some chow and kill a couple tall cold ones. I hadn't been in there 10 min when in walks an obeviouly end-of-day stressed out nurse and plopps down on a stool straight across the bar.

She looks at me, I look at her.......and she flies off the stool and runs over giggling with glee and lays a Huge Hug on me ! TERRY !!!

Terry was my all-time fun Buddy in college ! We hadn't seen each other in 28 years ! It took about 1/3 of a second and it was like it had just been last Sat. night. A couple hours and 48oz 's (each) later we said our See-Ya's and ended two bad work days with a Great reunion.

Terry was the type of College Buddy that would get through the ticket gate, at the Football game, walk down the fence 100' feet, and wait for me to lob a nap-sack packed with a 1/2 gallon of White Russians over the fence......make a better catch than either of the two teams Half-Backs and bust a sprint to the bletchers faster than any Hiesmon Tight-End ! ......Then re-heat spagetti at 3AM when we finally called it a day. (True Story)

Gunner I know you are a good guy. I seem to have some great female buddies too. Seems like I get to have the role of "adopted big brother".

One of those lady friends recently married her "huntin' buddy" and they knew each other years before. seems that friendship is a great thing to base a marriage on....Hmmm who knew?

We all need more friends that will give us a hug in a bar...And Dink....you are out of the running Sorry....

Rock - She's already married....and even if she weren't, it would really screw up things if that concept EVER came into conversation .... Just ruin a good thing. Too much fun to get a no minute call and take off for some "Oh Hell Yeah' brainstrom one of us conjouered up .........usually envolves alchohol and breaking rules.:0
