Just wanted to drop in and wish all the old HuntTalkers a happy New Year….haven’t been around here much of late (definitely no fault of Randy’s, this place has more class now than ever) as work and family obligations have kept me pretty much tapped out for spare time.

At a quick glance, it looks like I’ve got a good years worth of stories, hero shots, and rants to catch up of. Anyway, hope to participate a bit in 2011 and reconnect with some of the old crew, hell I might even agree with Buzz once or twice this coming year!

Yeah the coaching thing, aligning our RPS postion, assorted new job duites, and all that other life crap that gets in the way ... got in the way! Figured its time to slow down, enjoy some of your guys adventures, and start the new year with a bit better perspective thatn life on the hampster wheel.

Looks like quite a few of the old guard is still around.

Not sure about all the OC stuff I just read through (sounds like a long story) but knowing how you put things together, all I can say it sounds like their loss big time!

Marv, don't know you, but would like to. With kids/grandkids I don't get a chance to hunt more than my 10 days in October each year. As much as I would like to be out, they come first as far as I am concerned. I bit my tongue during spring soccer, baseball and now b/ball this winter watching my grandsons play. As a pop-pop I spend alot of time sitting on my hands with grammy's hand over my mouth.

Family is happy and miller's kids are getting big. I'll be around a bit more, it's just that this place has too many pics of great hunts and great critters. Makes my recent move seem quite depressing...
