No one here will will fault you for going on a guided hunt. It’s a personal decision that most everyone has pondered. Randy has done guided hunts before and enjoyed them. I am considering it for this year just to make the best out of the tag I drew.

If you want to get an outfitter you should do it! Randy definitely changed western hunting but I’m not sure it was for the better.

Heck no. I've been on four guided hunts, including when I drew the AZ Strip in 2007. Go for it. Good luck.

Just checked my cc and there was a $300 charge so it appears either my son or I drew a 12AW or 13B tag with very few points so must be a random draw.

Well it’s going to be Thanksgiving on the Kaibab for me. Didn’t think I’d ever draw a tag like this.
