Great friend drew AZ archery pronghorn unit 5B. Only 8 total tags total and he is the one nonres tag holder. If anybody knows the unit and has a couple insights to share via PM that would be great.

Randy’s had it. There’s good info on the game and fish website about that unit. Good lopes galore but best success will come to those who spend the time

If it's any consolation im one of the many NR that didn't draw that first choice. Good luck to your buddy though!

He had 21 points. he paid his dues for sure.

I hunted 10 with about 14 points one year. Great hunt.

21 points on an archery tag?!?! Holy smokes! Lots of antelope up on Andersen Mesa, but honestly, I'd look more east for areas with less lopes, and less pressure. That's a really neat area, you can scout it out pretty good over a long 4 day weekend. A good rain will change things up though, so what you find in late July can change drastically come opening day.
