Attending public events

Littleton, CO is having local events this week, Im currently at a live music concert with about 3000 people. I don't dwell on it or expect it, but every time im at an event like this, the thought of some nut bag commiting an act of violence crosses my mind. We've had some shitty happenings in CO, makes me aware when out and about. Anyone else have those possibilities enter their thoughts?

Especially in the stadiums. My thoughts of it are always in the context of my own safety, and my exit path.

I don't do big events just for that factor. Also I'm not into crowds and concerts.
