Littleton, CO is having local events this week, Im currently at a live music concert with about 3000 people. I don't dwell on it or expect it, but every time im at an event like this, the thought of some nut bag commiting an act of violence crosses my mind. We've had some shitty happenings in CO, makes me aware when out and about. Anyone else have those possibilities enter their thoughts?

We went to a Xmas lights at the zoo last year I didn’t realize they had a metal detector thing the guy being funny asked me if I had any knifes swords or crossbows he didn’t know what to say when I told him I’d be right back after I go put my pistol in the car

We don’t do concerts or to many large events. I like to sit in restaurants where I can see who is coming or going. We usually sit by the door at church. There’s an outside door that leads to an entry way before you enter into the sanctuary. If church has started and I hear that outside door open I tense up and get ready to pounce.

They wouldn't let me in with my leatherman

When I have to attend something in an auditorium type setting, I always sit on the end in the back row. Restaurants, I sit with my back to the wall where I can see the entrance. I absolutely avoid crowds, airports and airplanes. Haven’t been to a movie theater in years. Everyone at church knows that my wife and I sit in the back outside pew. There’s no way I would ever attend a concert or large sports event. Paranoid … no. Cautious … yes.
