Wow. Great joke. I bet everyone thinks you're a funny guy!RJ is definitely the type of guy that assigns blame to a rape victim because of the clothes she was wearing.
"The party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command." — George OrwellIt's out of hand. Some of yall jump to conclusions faster than buzz jumps on an elk tag. Let LE do their investigation. Come out swinging assuming the worst, burn your own cities to the ground. I haven't watched all the angles. Its not my $*)Q!#@$ job to. It's incredible that supporting law enforcement is such a frowned upon stance. But also not surprising given the crowd here. Keep clutching the pearls to please the loudest of the group.
Walz should ask for a full copy of the Epstein files.Time to stop saying it cant get any worse.
Seeing on TV news and in print....Pam Bondi sent a letter to MN officials that implies they will get ICE out of the state if the state releases its voter lists to the Trump justice department.
I sincerely hope that what is happening here does not come to your community. It’s truly heartbreaking. As a rule, I’ve never weighed in on political discussions on HT. But here goes.
I honestly don’t understand how anyone can watch the video from today and still support this initiative or this administration. What we’re seeing is state-sanctioned violence, carried out with near-total immunity. Whether or not it’s ever labeled “murder” in a courtroom, the lack of accountability should alarm anyone paying attention. There is no excuse for it.
I shudder to think about what this means locally. All signs point to an ICE holding facility reopening in Weld County, using the old Hudson prison. That alone should concern people, especially given that Colorado has a higher number and a higher percentage of undocumented immigrants than states like Minnesota. Increased enforcement here is not hypothetical, it’s predictable.
Trump clearly has another axe to grind with Polis, just as he did with Walz, due to the Tina Peters situation which only underscores the hypocrisy. Peters was convicted of doing the very thing January 6th apologists spent years falsely claiming was happening in elections, yet somehow she’s been turned into a political martyr instead of a cautionary tale.
I’ve worked with numerous families over the years who are exactly the kind of people caught in the crosshairs of this kind of enforcement. Well over half of the families in my school would directly affected by ICE presence here, not because of their legal status, but because of the color of their skin. This is not hyperbolic, this is reality. The mask is off. These are parents and kids I know personally, being treated as political leverage by vindictive, racist goons who seem to thrive on fear and intimidation. Some kind of leadership.
I can simultaneously recognize the importance of a secure border and have nothing but disdain for the doctrine, tactics, and execution currently being used by this administration and ICE. Those positions are not mutually exclusive.
What is astounding is the hypocrisy from people rushing to defend any of this, no matter how extreme it becomes.
When this almost inevitably escalates in my local area, and starts directly affecting kids I’ve dedicated my career to serving, I’m going to be forced into some very difficult decisions.

I believe most people do support law enforcement as long as the LEO's don't trash our constitutional rights, like the 1st, 2nd, 4th, 5th and probably a few more that have been trounced in the past few weeks. It's out of hand. Can you give examples of what difficult decisions you’ll be forced to make? Just curious is all.As a rule, I’ve never weighed in on political discussions on HT. But here goes.
